Kuwait (American University of the Middle East) 5 AUM Faculty Members Ranked Among the Top 2% Scientists in the World
The American University of the Middle East (AUM) takes pride in the achievement of five faculty members for being named in Stanford’s list of the World’s Top 2% Scientists.
The notable faculty members are Professor Wael Farag, Dr. Ibrahim Mahariq, Professor Mehmet Ali Güler, Professor Wael Al-Kouz, and Dr. Ali Dinc. Their research mainly focuses on various fields of engineering such as Computational methods, Electromagnetics, Photonics, optical materials and renewable energies. In addition to the field of technology such as artificial intelligence, robotics, dynamics (CFD), nanofluids, artificial energetics, gas emissions and global warming.
This ranking, considered the most prestigious worldwide, is based on the bibliometric information in the Scopus database and includes more than 200000 researchers from the more than 8 million scientists considered to be active worldwide, with 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields taken into account.
